Agristarbio, an invested company of the Terra Balance Group, has developed a process with proprietary technology based on an innovative reactor designed to transform the sludge generated in the treatment of urban and industrial wastewater - cellulose, pig and food industries - into organo-mineral fertilizer. This product has numerous advantages over the synthetic fertilizers applied to the soil. It is characterized by phased release of nutrients without altering the pH of the soil and it improves the microbiology and increases the cation exchange, with proven benefits in terms of plant growth as well as in the increase of the soil carbon content.

The fertilizer generated by this proprietary technology process (Agristarbio) has already been successfully tested on eucalyptus, maize and other crops.

The tests carried out showed excellent results, such as an acceleration of about 30% in the healthy growth of the plant, competing with coated fertilizers of high commercial value. They also proved that plants fertilized in this way perform better in what concerns thermal shock and water stress resistance.
